My name is Baye Hunter. I am a Canadian painter, photographer and mixed media artist.

My primary love is houses, using watercolour and Japanese paper collage to bring to life on paper the places that are dear to our hearts. I am also a bicycle artist and cycling advocate. I believe that living simply is the answer to the environmental crisis that we face in the world, the more we focus on low-impact transportation, local foods and living close to the earth and to the heart, the more we can heal our planet.

I am fortunate to live on Toronto Island where many of my photographs and references for my paintings are taken. The island is a car free-community - living here creates many challenges that shape my work.

I am offering my artwork as greeting cards and prints. I hope you enjoy what you see.
